Next up, the Greyhounds battle the Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 5. North Surry will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Buckin' Elks go into the outing with a 6-12 record after their 3-1 league loss to Starmount (Boonville, NC).

The Blackhawks now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they host Wilkes Central for a Foothills 2A outing on Thursday, October 6. West Wilkes will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 6-11.
