Next, the Eagles encounter the Jacksonville Fightin' Indians (Jacksonville, TX) in a 4A Region III District 18 challenge, on Friday, October 7. Rusk will attempt to move on its 17-16 season record. The Fightin' Indians come into the challenge with a 3-22 record after their 3-0 league loss to Madisonville (Madisonville, TX).
