The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM), saw La Cueva's soccer squad beat Sandia by a margin of 4-0.

The Bears now sport a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Farmington for a 5A District 2 test on Saturday, October 7. La Cueva will meet a Scorpions squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Scorpions record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Sandia drops to 4-8 on the season. The Matadors travel to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM) to meet the Panthers in a 5A District 2 test on Saturday, October 7. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 7-6. Piedra Vista won 5-2 in their recent league test against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM)
