The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE) and the visiting Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE), saw Lincoln Southwest's softball squad achieve victory over Lincoln Northeast by a count of 8-0.
The Silver Hawks now sport a 25-9 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln North Star for a A District match on Wednesday, October 4. Lincoln Southwest will face a Navigators squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Norfolk (Norfolk, NE). The Navigators record now stands at 17-12.
With the loss, Lincoln Northeast falls to 6-20 on the campaign.
