Next up, the Indians battle the Marengo Panthers (Dixons Mills, AL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 5. Southern Choctaw will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 1-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Clarke County (Grove Hill, AL).

With the loss, Johnson drops to 2-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Choctaw County (Butler, AL) to battle the Tigers in a 1A Area 5 match on Monday, October 9. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 6-6.
