The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Southern Choctaw Indians (Gilbertown, AL) and the visiting Johnson Eagles (Thomaston, AL), saw Southern Choctaw's volleyball squad beat Johnson by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Southern Choctaw upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Indians host Fruitdale (Fruitdale, AL) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-1.
The Eagles now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Hatch for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. Johnson will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Linden (Linden, AL). The Bobcats record now stands at 8-5.
