The North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) volleyball were winner over the host Morgan Huskies (Clinton, CT), 3-0 in Wednesday's league outing.

With the win, North Branford betters its record to 6-5 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Portland (Portland, CT) to face the Highlanders in a Shoreline outing on Friday, October 6. The Highlanders go into the outing with a record of 0-11. Portland lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT)

The Huskies now sport a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Valley Regional for a Shoreline outing on Friday, October 6. Morgan will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Hale Ray (Moodus, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 8-4.
