In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Asbury Park Bishops.
The Garnet Gulls (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ). The Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, Manchester Township was beaten by Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Bishops meet the Trinity Hall (Tinton Falls, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Asbury Park will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The enter the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Wall Township (Wall, NJ).
