In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Asbury Park Bishops.
The Garnet Gulls (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wall Township (Wall, NJ). The Crimson Knights enter the Shore B - North challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Wall Township beat Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Bishops meet the Trinity Hall (Tinton Falls, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 18. Asbury Park will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 2-1 league win over St. Rose (Belmar, NJ).
