New Mexico High School Soccer - Manzano knocks off Capital

The Manzano Monarchs soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting Capital Jaguars to 0 in the Monarchs league victory on Saturday.
The Monarchs now possess a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host La Cueva for a 5A District 2 game on Wednesday, October 8. Manzano will face a Bears team coming off a 5-0 league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Bears record now stands at 10-4.
With the loss, Capital moves to 3-10 on the year. The Jaguars host Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Golden Eagles in a 5A District 2 bout on Wednesday, October 8. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 11-1. Eldorado won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM)
