The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Barrow Whalers (Utqiagvik, AK) and the host West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK), saw Barrow's volleyball squad notch a victory over West Anchorage by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Barrow improves its record to 30-8 on the season.

The Eagles now own a 8-21 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Anchorage for a 4A Cook Inlet battle on Tuesday, October 7. West Anchorage will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Dimond (Anchorage, AK). The Wolverines record now stands at 23-3.
