In Saturday's non-league match, the Bison Cardinals (Bison, SD) volleyball squad tipped the host Newell Irrigators (Newell, SD), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Gordon-Rushville Mustangs (Gordon, NE) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 4. Bison will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 8-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Chadron (Chadron, NE).
With the loss, Newell drops to 8-14 on the campaign. The Irrigators travel to Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD) to clash with the Golddiggers in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 4. The Golddiggers come into the bout with a record of 5-13. Lead-Deadwood lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Edgemont (Edgemont, SD)
