Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Newell Irrigators (Newell, SD) and the host Bison Cardinals (Bison, SD), observed Newell's volleyball team top Bison by a tally of 3-1.

The Irrigators (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Tiospaye Topa (Ridgeview, SD). The Thunderhawks go into the non-league test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Tiospaye Topa was defeated by Takini (Howes, SD), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Cardinals now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Takini for a B Region 8 test on Thursday, September 18. Bison will meet a Skyhawks team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Tiospaye Topa (Ridgeview, SD). The Skyhawks record now stands at 1-1.
