In Saturday's non-league match, the Paris Eagles (Paris, AR) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Mena Bearcats (Mena, AR), by a count of 2-1.
The Eagles now possess a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lamar for a 3A 5 bout on Tuesday, October 7.
With the loss, Mena drops to 20-7 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR) to clash with the Cobras in a 4A 6 bout on Tuesday, October 7. The Cobras come into the bout with a record of 13-3. Fountain Lake won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Harmony Grove (Benton, AR)
