In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Springstead Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Nature Coast Tech Sharks.
The Eagles (15-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Crystal River (Crystal River, FL). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 8-10 record. In their last challenge, Crystal River beat North Marion (Citra, FL), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Sharks meet the Angeline Academy of Innovation Archers (Land O' Lakes, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Nature Coast Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Archers enter the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL).
