Thornton Fractional North Meteors (Calumet City, IL) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Southland College Prep (Matteson, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Meteors (13-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Thornwood (South Holland, IL). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league challenge with a 12-12 record. In their last challenge, Thornwood beat Thornridge (Dolton, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.
