In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Miyamura Patriots soccer squad scored a close 6-0 win over the Shiprock Chieftains.
The Patriots (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Aztec (Aztec, NM). The Tigers go into the 4A District 1 battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Aztec nipped Gallup (Gallup, NM), 4-1, in a league battle.
The Chieftains (0-13) will now prepare for their battle against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM). The Bobcats go into the 4A District 1 battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Bloomfield nipped Miyamura (Gallup, NM), 3-0, in a league battle.
