The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Hendersonville Bearcats (Hendersonville, NC) and the visiting R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC), saw Hendersonville's soccer squad triumph over R-S Central by a margin of 5-0.

The Bearcats now sport a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Polk County for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A test on Monday, October 10. Hendersonville will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Patton (Morganton, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, R-S Central drops to 6-8 on the season. The Hilltoppers host Brevard (Brevard, NC) to meet the Blue Devils in a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A test on Monday, October 10. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 6-5. Brevard won 6-1 in their recent league test against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC)
