Illinois High School Volleyball - Wilmington edged by Coal City

The Coal City Coalers held off the visiting Wilmington Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Coalers now have a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Herscher for a Illinois Central Eight test on Tuesday, October 10.

The Wildcats (18-6) will now prepare for their test against Lisle (Lisle, IL). The Lions enter the Illinois Central Eight test with a 7-20 record. In their last test, Lisle was nudged by Manteno (Manteno, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
