The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Fike Demons (Wilson, NC) and the host East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC), saw Fike's volleyball squad beat East Wake by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Fike upgrades its record to 6-11 on the year. The Demons host Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC) to play the Saints in a Quad County 3A bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Southern Wayne won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC)

The Warriors now own a 2-17 record. They play next when they host South Johnston for a Quad County 3A bout on Tuesday, October 10. East Wake will play a Trojans squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 14-5.
