The Rappahannock Raiders volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Essex Trojans to 0 in the Raiders league victory on Thursday.
The Raiders now possess a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Colonial Beach for a Northern Neck game on Tuesday, October 10. Rappahannock will meet a Drifters team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Westmoreland (Montross, VA). The Drifters record now stands at 5-11.
The Trojans (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA). The Indians enter the Northern Neck game with a 6-8 record. In their last game, Northumberland defeated Lancaster (Lancaster, VA), 3-2, in a league game.
