The Essex Trojans volleyball team (Tappahannock, VA), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Rappahannock Raiders (Warsaw, VA)

The Raiders (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA). The Drifters come into the Northern Neck challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Colonial Beach went down by Westmoreland (Montross, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans encounter the Northumberland Indians (Heathsville, VA) in a Northern Neck challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Essex will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, VA).
