West Virginia High School Volleyball - Hoover over Nicholas County

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) and the host Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV), saw Hoover's volleyball squad beat Nicholas County by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Hoover upgrades its record to 15-11 on the year. The Huskies travel to Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 5. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 8-12. Liberty lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV)

The Grizzlies now own a 6-24 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a Coalfield AA bout on Thursday, October 5. Nicholas County will play a Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV). The Raiders record now stands at 8-12.
