West Virginia High School Volleyball - Hoover over Nicholas County

September 14, 2023: Clendenin, WV 25071

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Huskies battle the Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 14. Hoover will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Gilmer County (Glenville, WV).

With the loss, Nicholas County drops to 3-9 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Independence (Coal City, WV) to battle the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 16. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 8-6. Independence won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV)
