The North Panola Cougars held off the visiting Holly Springs Hawks volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.
The Cougars now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mooreville for a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. North Panola will confront a Troopers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Houston (Houston, MS). The Troopers record now stands at 6-11.
The Hawks (4-7) will now prepare for their test against East Webster (Maben, MS). The Wolverines enter the non-league test with a 15-6 record. In their last test, East Webster was nudged by Ethel (Ethel, MS), 3-0, in a non-league test.
