The Marshfield Bluejays softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Battle Spartans to 0 in the Bluejays non-league win on Saturday.

The Bluejays now possess a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Logan-Rogersville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 8. Marshfield will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 24-15 non-league win over Aurora (Aurora, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-14.

With the loss, Battle moves to 10-20 on the season. The Spartans host Sherwood (Creighton, MO) to confront the Marksmen in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 5. The Marksmen come into the battle with a record of 5-13. Sherwood lost 11-10 in their recent non-league battle against Harrisonville (Harrisonville, MO)
