Next up, the Lancers face the Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 12. Grant will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record.

With the loss, Chavez moves to 2-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA) to face the Dons in a contest on Monday, October 10. The Dons go into the contest with a record of 13-0. Verdugo Hills won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against San Fernando (San Fernando, CA)
