California High School Volleyball - Grant can't hold off Chavez

In Wednesday's league battle, the host Chavez Eagles volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Grant Lancers.
The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA). The Dons come into the battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Verdugo Hills nudged Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences (Granada Hills, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Lancers encounter the Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) in a battle, on Thursday, September 22. Grant will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record.
