The Highland Hornets smashed the visiting Valencia Jaguars soccer squad by a margin of 10-1 in Thursday's league match.
The Hornets now sport a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Grants for a 4A District 5 match on Tuesday, October 11. Highland will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Pirates record now stands at 0-12.
With the loss, Valencia falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Monday, October 10.
