Cedartown Bulldogs (Cedartown, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Southeast Whitfield County Raiders (Dalton, GA), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-19 record. They take the field next when they travel to Heritage for a 4A Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, October 11. Cedartown will face a Generals squad coming off a 11-3 league win over Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA). The Generals record now stands at 17-6.

With the loss, Southeast Whitfield County falls to 2-18 on the campaign. The Raiders host Central (Carrollton, GA) to face the Lions in a 4A Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, October 11. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 20-5. Central won 9-1 in their recent non-league challenge against East Paulding (Dallas, GA)
