Southeast Bulloch Yellowjackets (Brooklet, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Wayne County Yellow Jackets (Jesup, GA), 9-8 in a league challenge.

The Yellowjackets now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they host Bryan County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 11. Southeast Bulloch will face a Redskins squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Portal (Portal, GA). The Redskins record now stands at 15-4.

With the loss, Wayne County falls to 17-3 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets host Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 11. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 24-1.
