Coming up next, the Yellow Jackets encounter the Burke County Bears (Waynesboro, GA) in a 4A Region 3 test, on Thursday, September 22. Wayne County will attempt to improve on its 14-1 season record. The Bears enter the test with a 11-9 record after their 9-8 non-league win over Washington County (Sandersville, GA).

The Yellowjackets (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Pinewood Christian (Bellville, GA). The Patriots enter the non-league test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Pinewood Christian tipped Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA), 9-6, in a league test.
