In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Toombs County Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Bryan County Redskins.

The Bulldogs (19-10) will now prepare for their battle against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA). The Herons come into the non-league battle with a 0-18 record. In their last battle, Brantley County lost by Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Redskins clash with the Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines (Savannah, GA) in a 1A Area 3 battle, on Tuesday, October 11. Bryan County will attempt to advance on its 6-18 season record. The Wolverines come into the battle with a 14-12 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA).
