The Grant Lancers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Chavez Eagles to 0 in the Lancers league victory on Thursday.
The Lancers now possess a 6-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennedy for a non-league game on Saturday, October 8. Grant will meet a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Sylmar (Sylmar, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 13-13.
The Eagles (3-10) will now prepare for their game against Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA). The Dons enter the East Valley game with a 28-5 record. In their last game, Verdugo Hills defeated San Fernando (San Fernando, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
