The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) and the visiting Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA), saw Grant's volleyball squad beat Chavez by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Grant upgrades its record to 2-11 on the year. The Lancers travel to Monroe (North Hills, CA) to play the Vikings in a East Valley bout on Thursday, September 15. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Monroe lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Arleta (Arleta, CA)

The Eagles now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Verdugo Hills for a East Valley bout on Friday, September 16. Chavez will play a Dons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences (Granada Hills, CA). The Dons record now stands at 15-5.
