The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Cuba Rams (Cuba, NM), saw Sandia Prep's volleyball squad beat Cuba by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Sandia Prep upgrades its record to 11-6 on the year. The Sundevils host Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Coyotes in a 3A District 5 bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Cottonwood Classical Prep lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM)

The Rams now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bosque for a 3A District 5 bout on Tuesday, October 11. Cuba will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Bobcats record now stands at 9-5.
