With the win, Southern Guilford upgrades its record to 10-10 on the year. The Storm travel to Dudley (Greensboro, NC) to play the Panthers in a Mid-State 3A bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-13. Dudley lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC)

The Wildcats now own a 3-15 record. They play next when they host Ben L. Smith for a Mid-State 3A bout on Tuesday, October 11. Eastern Guilford will play a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to High Point Central (High Point, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-8.
