The Southern Guilford Storm topped the host Eastern Guilford Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league test.

The Storm now have a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dudley for a Mid-State 3A test on Thursday, September 15. Southern Guilford will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-7.

The Wildcats (1-10) will now prepare for their test against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles enter the Mid-State 3A test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Ben L. Smith was knocked off by High Point Central (High Point, NC), 3-1, in a league test.
