The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Healdsburg Greyhounds (Healdsburg, CA) and the host Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA), saw Healdsburg's volleyball squad beat Piner by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Healdsburg upgrades its record to 13-8 on the year. The Greyhounds host St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA) to play the Mustangs in a North Bay - Redwood bout on Friday, October 7. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 2-15. St. Vincent de Paul lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA)

The Prospectors now own a 2-19 record. They play next when they travel to Elsie Allen for a North Bay - Redwood match on Tuesday, October 11. Piner will battle a Lobos squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Ukiah (Ukiah, CA). The Lobos record now stands at 1-8.
