In Tuesday's league battle, the host Healdsburg Greyhounds volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Piner Prospectors.

The Greyhounds (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA). The Cougars come into the North Bay - Redwood battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Rancho Cotate achieved victory over St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Prospectors clash with the Elsie Allen Lobos (Santa Rosa, CA) in a North Bay - Redwood battle, on Thursday, September 22. Piner will attempt to advance on its 0-12 season record. The Lobos come into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Ukiah (Ukiah, CA).
