In Friday's league game, the T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC) football team knocked off the visiting Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC), by a final score of 41-13.

The Rams (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Erwin (Asheville, NC). The Warriors come into the Mountain Athletic 3A/4A game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Erwin was dropped by A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC), 45-3, in a league game.

The Cougars now hold a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host McDowell for a Mountain Athletic 3A/4A game on Friday, October 13. Asheville will battle a Titans team coming off a 44-0 league win over Enka (Enka, NC). The Titans record now stands at 2-5.
