Oak Grove Warriors (Hattiesburg, MS) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Meridian Wildcats (Meridian, MS), 45-35 in a league test.

With the triumph, Oak Grove improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Warriors host Brandon (Brandon, MS) to battle the Bulldogs in a 7A Region 3 test on Friday, October 13. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 4-2. Brandon won 54-17 in their recent league test against Petal (Petal, MS)

With the loss, Meridian drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Petal (Petal, MS) to battle the Panthers in a 7A Region 3 test on Friday, October 20. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 3-3.
