Texas High School Volleyball - Carthage tips Gilmer

In Friday's league contest, the Carthage Bulldogs (Carthage, TX) volleyball squad nudged the host Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Henderson Lions (Henderson, TX) in a 4A Region III District 17 contest, on Tuesday, October 10. Carthage will attempt to better on its 12-12 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 22-12 record after their 3-0 league win over Kilgore (Kilgore, TX).

With the loss, Gilmer moves to 19-19 on the year. The Buckeyes host Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a 4A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, October 10. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a record of 17-17. Chapel Hill lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Spring Hill (Longview, TX)
