The Chavez Eagles edged the visiting Grant Lancers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Monday's league game.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) in a game, on Wednesday, October 8. Chavez will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Dons go into the game with a 7-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Monroe (North Hills, CA).
With the loss, Grant drops to 5-7 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Monroe (North Hills, CA) to play the Vikings in a game on Monday, October 13. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 2-9.
