California High School Volleyball - Chavez can't hold off Grant

In Thursday's league match, the Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA), by a count of 2-1.
The Lancers now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Granada Hills Charter for a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. Grant will clash with a Highlanders team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Chavez drops to 6-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA) to battle the Huskies in a match on Friday, September 19. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 1-0.
