North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Surry over East Wilkes

The North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC), 3-0 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Greyhounds now possess a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Stokes for a Northwest 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, October 7. North Surry will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-13.

Next, the Cardinals battle the Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) in a Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A battle, on Tuesday, October 7. East Wilkes will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record. The Buckin' Elks go into the battle with a 7-13 record after their 3-1 league loss to West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC).
