In Monday's league challenge, the visiting San Pedro Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Gardena Panthers.

The Pirates (11-11) will now prepare for their test against Carson (Carson, CA). The Colts go into the Marine test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Carson achieved victory over Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA), 3-0, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Banning for a Marine test on Thursday, October 9. Gardena will face a Pilots squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Narbonne (Harbor City, CA). The Pilots record now stands at 6-17.
