The DeSoto Eagles walloped the visiting Mansfield Legacy Broncos football team by a count of 56-7 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, DeSoto upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 6A Region II District 11 outing on Friday, October 14. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 2-4. Lake Ridge won 49-0 in their recent league outing against Skyline (Dallas, TX)

With the loss, Mansfield Legacy moves to 3-3 on the season. The Broncos travel to Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX) to confront the Indians in a 6A Region II District 11 outing on Friday, October 14. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 4-2. Waxahachie lost 24-7 in their recent league outing against Duncanville (Duncanville, TX)
