Louisiana High School Volleyball - Ponchatoula Chalmette

In Friday's non-league battle, the host Chalmette Owls volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Ponchatoula Green Wave.

The Owls (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 13-4 record. In their last battle, Pope John Paul II achieved victory over Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Green Wave clash with the Archbishop Hannan Hawks (Covington, LA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 7. Ponchatoula will attempt to advance on its 15-8 season record. The Hawks come into the test with a 5-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA).
