Louisiana High School Volleyball - Ponchatoula tips Chalmette

September 6, 2022: Ponchatoula, LA 70454

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) and the visiting Chalmette Owls (Chalmette, LA), saw Ponchatoula's volleyball squad nip Chalmette by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Ponchatoula upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Green Wave travel to Central (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 8. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

The Owls now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Slidell for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 7. Chalmette will play a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
